Call of the Wish

The first mother reveals her glory to the universe. She casts her wish in the form of a tiny sphere of light into the darkness. A being notices this and heeds the call of the wish to be returned to the light. This being accepts the burden of the hero's quest and battles against its fellow dwellers of the dark who disagree citing that the hero is evil for removing what they believe to be rightfully theirs. The hero's naivete is exposed and they are defeated. But the wish calls yet again and again they answer. This time filled with resolve and the wisdom from their experience they undertake the hero's burden once again. This time, with help from fellow believers, our hero makes it to the light while chaos echoes below through time and space. They sit by a tree at the foot of the first mother and understand that their wholeness came only from accepting the evil it had to assimilate to reach its goal.
